Scott Whorrall

Scott Whorrall is a results driven turf-grass and landscape expert with a twenty year successful track record. He is passionate, conscientious and detail oriented with the highest of moral and ethical standards. Scott’s background and experiences encompass a broad spectrum of both Horticulture and Turf-grass Management talents and skills. Scott is a 1993 graduate of Florida Gateway College in Lake City, Florida, a college renowned for some of the country’s leading Landscape and Golf Course Management professionals. Originally, from outside of Chicago, he has been a Florida resident for the past twenty-five years. Scott has been an integral part of the development, construction and management of four golf courses, two master planned communities along with exclusive clubhouse lawns and gardens.

Before Vision Landscapes, Scott was the Director of Golf Course and Grounds Operations at the exclusive Mediterra in Naples for twelve years. He was hired during the infancy of the project and went on to oversee and manage the building of both golf courses, their exquisite clubhouse landscaping, their salt tolerant landscape of their Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico and over sixty five acres of common area parks, arbors, fountains and landscape. Not interested in keeping with the standard “norm” of many Landscape Companies, he caters to individuals and organizations who want their properties to distinguish themselves from others. His philosophy is to not be the largest landscape installation and service provider but to focus on distinguished properties for maintenance and only a select few construction and renovation projects at once. This philosophy is so he and his Team are accessible, hands on, and able to deliver the highest quality results for their clients.

Director of Finances

Erik Delgado

Erik Delgado is our Financial Analyst and Controller at Vision Landscape Services in Bonita Springs, FL. He brings to the table a strong background in Financial Modeling, Management Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, P&L, and B/S.

Erik most recently worked as a financial Analyst for HCA Healthcare at their corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. He helped develop financial reporting models that provided data integration and analysis that helped improve the company’s revenue cycle and other initiatives. He was instrumental in the company’s success by aligning technologies, processes, and methodologies throughout finance and other departments.

Erik has a BS in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA in Finance from Tennessee State University. He grew up in South Florida and currently lives in Fort Myers with his wife and daughter.

Maria Diaz

Maria is a Human Resources Professional with over 14 years of experience. She graduated from Universidad del Turabo in Puerto Rico, with a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management in 2009, and also with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Maria was previously employed at a large sod company for four years as an HR Generalist.

Cristina Uribe

Cristina is the Office Receptionist for Vision Landscape, with over 4 years of experience as a Real Estate Agent, and customer service.  She has helped to achieve our important goal of customer satisfaction by being a team player.  She works directly with Field’s manager to solve any client’s issue on time, provides follow-up to our clients until meeting the service satisfaction.  Also, she is a certified notary since June 2020.

Jacqueline Velasquez

Jacqueline Velasquez is Visions Bookkeeping and Accounting professional. With over ten years of experience, she is innovative and driven and adept at quickly learning new accounting procedures and methods. 

Jacqueline is very detail-oriented, with exceptional problem solving and organizational skills to support our Finance department. Key strengths include excellent communication skills, internet savvy and a constant willingness to learn new skills. 

She was born in New York City, raised in New Jersey. 

Jacqueline also has a Dental Assistant Certification from OCVTS since 2006.

Jacqueline loves gardening, working out and spending her free time with her family.

John Schell began working in the Florida Green Industry in the summer of 1987. For over 30 years, John has worked for both small and large companies and was self-employed for 18 of those years. From various Green Industry groups, John holds certifications including FCHP, FCLMT, FWSAP, CPCO, FFLCP, and GI-BMP. John appreciates that the learning never ends in this dynamic industry and that every day brings new information and understanding about our lush, subtropical environment.

The landscaping experience includes creativity, care, and problem-solving. John Schell enjoys all these aspects and especially values the opportunity to share his experience and perspective with our clients while at the same time learning from our clients’ wide range of experience.

Michael Hirschberg

Michael has over 25 years as a contractor and 17 years as a business development manager in the landscape and irrigation industry. He is looking forward to developing many new long-term business relationships with property owners and property managers in the area. He loves to see a new client’s landscape flourish and mature over the years with fresh ideas and a little expert TLC.

Michael moved to Naples in 2004 and currently lives in Bonita Springs with his wife Melissa and their two Dachshunds, Liebe and Jager. His hobbies are personal development, travel, and investing, and he enjoys volleyball for exercise.

As a Southwest Florida native, Robert brings with him a vast knowledge of Florida landscapes. Robert manages our numerous Homeowner Associations and Community Associations in our Fort Myers Division. He facilitates the maintenance and enhancements throughout these communities of over (350) homes and is an integral part of their beautification. Robert has been involved in several large scale Landscape Construction and Maintenance projects throughout Naples and Fort Myers since 2010. He began with Vision in the Landscape Construction Division and has worked his way up the ranks from Laborer to Production Manager and now Client Services Manager. A true asset to our team!

Paul Zimny

Paul is an experienced Client Services Manager and a previous landscape company owner. He was born and raised in northern New Jersey, in a suburb just outside New York City, and moved to Florida in 2011. He has been in the landscape industry for over twenty-five years and previously worked at two of the largest Landscape companies in the country.

Paul holds an Associate Degree in Business Management and several certifications through the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association.

Craig Hutchinson

Craig Hutchinson is a Florida Native who has over forty-five years of experience maintaining Florida Landscapes; fifteen of those years in Southwest Florida. Craig was educated in Horticulture at Valencia Community College in Orlando Florida and Rollins College of School Business in Winter Park Florida.

Among his many accomplishments and projects was his thirty years of experience with the Walt Disney World Company as the Division General Manager of Operations for Disney’s Horticulture. Craig was acknowledged with a “Disney Leadership Rating” in the top 4% in staff and twice received the Walt Disney World Partner in Excellence Award.

His visionary leadership, impeccable focus on details and love of the Florida Landscape, has made him a leader in the landscape industry.

Andrew Segura is a turf and ornamental pest control expert with over ten years of experience. He is a Florida Certified Pest Operator, certified Florida Nursery, Growers, and Landscape Horticulturist and is also certified in the Florida Best Management Practices. Andrew’s daily goals are to provide the best quality and customer service to each and every and client.

Mike Kane

Relatively new to Florida and a former GA resident, Mike is a career horticulturist and seasoned land care expert with extensive experience in account management and over 20 years’ experience in the industry.  Mike manages multiple field maintenance and installation crews on Homeowner Association and Commercial properties. His attention to detail and customer care, interface with property managers, and effective communication builds trust and delivers the highest quality standards of care for the client. Mike’s vast range of construction knowledge base includes softscape, hardscape, and specialized installation complements an extensive maintenance portfolio.
